1. What different types of accommodation are available and who are they best suited to?
There are lots of different room categories at the MONDI Resort Oberstaufen, with something to suit everybody, whether they are families, couples or active adventurers. We have studios, apartments, family apartments and suites, all in different sizes and with different equipment. All the apartments and suites are suitable for families, especially our tailored family apartments. The studios are perfect for couples. If you are looking for a real luxury vibe, then a chalet unit is the perfect choice.
2. Can we bring our dog to the MONDI Resort Oberstaufen?
Of course. We love to welcome well-behaved four-legged guests, providing their owners are considerate of the needs of all our guests. Please let us know in advance if you are bringing your dog, then we can arrange dog-friendly accommodation with a cosy dog blanket and a water bowl. We charge an extra €18 per day for dogs.
3. What equipment do the rooms have and what extras are available for babies and/or toddlers?
All accommodation has a private outdoor seating area and at least a fully equipped kitchenette. Some even have a full kitchen with an oven and dishwasher. We are happy to provide a full range of equipment for babies and toddlers, including a cot, bed rails, changing mat, bottle warmer, highchair, toilet training seat, etc. Please let us know what you need when you book. The MONDI Resort Oberstaufen can also lend out buggies and baby carriers free of charge.
4. What is included in the price and what extras can we book?
Most things are included in the price at the MONDI Resort Oberstaufen. There are lots of wellness and entertainment options, an exercise programme and children’s activities. Families can enjoy childcare for ages four and up, a baby playroom, an 80 square foot indoor play area, a forest adventure playground and another playground next to the restaurant terrace, plus free hire of pushchairs and baby carriers. The baby equipment, including changing mats, bottle warmers and cots, is also all available free of charge. Once a week, there is a baby swimming session in the hotel’s own heated indoor pool. As well as all the hotel facilities offered, the price also includes the Oberstaufen Plus Guest Pass, which gives you a range of free services and discounts, e.g. a ski pass for the nearby mountains and one session at the Aquaria leisure pool.
5. How family-friendly and accessible is the MONDI Resort Oberstaufen?
In terms of its location and facilities, the MONDI Resort Oberstaufen is extremely family-friendly, making it the perfect choice for a multi-generation holiday or for grandparents travelling with their grandchildren. We make every effort to ensure that all paths are suitable for pushchairs and, where possible, accessible. However, these conversion measures are not possible in all buildings for structural reasons.
